Created for the 2026 Leap East conference opening ceremony, this live generative artwork celebrates the union of the Middle East and Asia. Blacktrax live tracking technology captures the dancers' movements to generate real-time visuals, fusing visual motifs from Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong. Because the visuals are entirely generative, each moment exists only once, never to be replicated.

The stage is set with green particles against an empty backdrop, expanding into a kaleidoscopic landscape. Next, a portal into a high-tech visualization of the historic Silk Road.

Next, the journey moves through a golden landscape of Arabian architecture. It then builds to a fast-paced dive into the vibrant Hong Kong cityscape, all brought to life through shifting kaleidoscopic patterns.

The mirror realm reflects the kaleidoscopic scenery, teasing fragments of the source footage.

As scenes unfold, sides are added to the kaleidoscope to increase the intricacy of the patterns.

The grand finale swells into a rich color spectrum of green, blue, gold, and red, before settling into stillness.
